DECEMBER 14TH:
Give words.
I have a really good friend who is really really really good at speaking truth over me.
She is really good at words. She doesn’t use a lot of them but when she does, they are exactly what my heart needed to hear.
And then I have another great great friend whose love language is words of affirmation. Who takes words so seriously, who takes words to heart and who listens intently.
I have two great examples of people who love well through words and who have taught me what words can truly mean in my life.
Words matter, guys. Your words matter.
I know it is tough to say thank you and to ask for forgiveness when you were the one who felt wronged.
I know it is tough to be the bigger person and to choose love over pride and anger.
I get it.
But your words and actions matter.
How you speak to someone matters.
So. Give words today.
But not just any kind of words, but words that matter. That bring life and hope and love.
Words that lift someone up instead of tearing them down.
Words that love instead of kick ya where it hurts.
Give words today. As many good good words that you can.
